The Sustainable Environment Network Society is hoping to get people revved
up about electric cars.
SENS will be hosting an electric car show Thursday, May 24 at the Schubert
Centre in Vernon from 7-9 p.m.
Participants will have a chance to take an electric vehicle for a test
drive, hop on an electric bike and check out a number of solar and wind
Inside the Schubert Centre, people can ask questions and have lively
alternative energy discussions.
There will also be information on the costs and benefits of electric modes
of transportation and the environmental impact of going electric.
The event is free to attend.
